Who is Behind All This
I am passionate and excited by the vast world of software development.
After fiddling with a variety of IOT devices and really seeing what they could do, I realized I was growing a love for software development. I decided to throw myself in the fire and enrolled in an intensive developer bootcamp, which I recently completed in May 2016.
During the bootcamp and shortly after, I built web apps utilizing a variety of technologies: Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, jQuery, React, Handlebars, AJAX, CSS, PostegreSQL, Heroku, and various AWS services. I also tested using RSpec, Jasmine, Selenium, Mocha, and Chai. I gained valuable experience implementing agile methodologies and pair programming. But most importantly, I learned how to learn. The skills and tools I have in my arsenal now are important, but my edge is the learning agility to pick up the right technology to improve, optimize, and create solutions for any vast array of unexpected challenges.
